PVC Engineering Plastics: how PVC plastic pipes are formed
The forming process of PVC plastic pipes should start from the raw materials of PVC plastic granules, which can be divided into soft PVC and hard PVC according to the added amount of stabilizer, plasticizer and lubricant.
According to the use of soft PVC or hard PVC as raw materials, PVC plastic pipes are divided into soft and hard pipes: hard PVC plastic pipes are made of PVC resin mixed with stabilizers, lubricants, plasticizers and other additives, and extruded after granulation; Soft PVC plastic pipe is made of PVC resin, plasticizer and other additives with high components, and extruded after granulation. The difference between the two kinds of pipes is that rigid PVC plastic pipes have good chemical resistance, corrosion resistance and insulation; Flexible PVC plastic pipe has excellent chemical stability, electrical insulation and good softness.
The following is the forming process flow of PVC plastic pipe:
Production process: preparation of raw materials + additives → mixing → feeding → forced feeding → conical twin-screw extruder → extrusion die → sizing sleeve → spraying vacuum setting box → soaking cooling water tank → ink printer → crawler tractor → knife lifting cutter → pipe stacking rack → finished product inspection and packaging.
